For the fourth straight year, Kia has been recognized by J.D. Power as the top mass-market brand in their annual Initial Quality Study. This means that Kia vehicles received the lowest rate of reported problems according to new vehicle owners that were surveyed about their experiences with their vehicle after 90 days of ownership.
J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study found that Kia outperforms industry average in seven of eight problem categories that were identified in the study:
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Audio/Communication/Entertainment/Navigation (ACEN)
- Features/Controls/Displays (FCD)
Kia is proud of this achievement as part of efforts to build vehicles of exceptional quality that Kia owners can trust. Across the entire range of models, Kia is invested in extraordinary engineering, performance, innovation, and safety.
In addition, two Kia models were also recognized by J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study as the highest ranked models in their segment.
